Copyright page states "First Published 1954" with no other printings noted - the list of other titles by Dylan Thomas opposite the Title Page states that "Early One Morning" will be ready for publication in "Autumn 1954". Printed at the Aldine Press, Letchworth.

Description:

Hardback, 12mo (approx 7.5 inches / 19 cm tall), ix + 101 pages with pronunciation notes, cast list (including Richard Burton as the "First Voice") and music scores for songs at the rear.

Book Condition - Good:

Light to moderate general wear to the original brown boards and spine (moderate rubbing to bottom edges), gilt spine lettering clear and bright, securely bound with hinges fully intact and text block sound, neat undated gift inscription on front free endpaper, moderate to significant browning / foxing to endpapers and text block edges, intermittent light internal foxing, overall internally Good on light cream coloured paper in a clean and clear condition.

Dust Jacket Condition - Fair:

Moderate to significant edge wear with small amounts of loss (short closed tears plus a one inch / 2cm closed tear to the bottom of the front panel repaired to the reverse with archive quality film), significant to heavy foxing to the flaps, spine and top edge of the rear panel faded to a pale blue, not price clipped. Fully enclosed in an easily removable library cover as photographed.
