- "pleasure" instead of "business" on line 11 of page 40
- "12 o'clock" instead of "9 o'clock" on the first line of page 60
- single page advert for 'Treasure Island at rear with 8 page publisher's catalogue dated "5G-7.86"
- bottom of the last page of the story (p311) states "Printed by Cassell & Company Limited, La Belle Sauvage, London, E.C. 2.5,786".
Book Condition - Good: Hardback, viii + 311 pages with folding coloured frontis map in a very clean condition (6mm closed tear adjoining the margin).
Moderate general wear to the original blind ruled boards and spine, moderate fading to top edge of front board, gilt spine lettering faded but still clear, plain black endpapers, firmly bound but front hinge cracking and some early internal separation (no loose pages), owner's undated signature on half title, fore-edge untrimmed with very light foxing, top edge browned, internally very clean with light edge browning.
Total weight with packaging just over 600g.
